Fortunately for them, they control the wealth. And that controls the country, whether the Executive and/or Legislative branches are Democrat or Republican. So while there will be sound and fury, the outcome will be the same for the foreseeable future. Past that there will be violence, in my humble opinion. If violence doesn't come sooner over water, food or other resources. The idea of cheap labor and controllable minorities has lead to the traditional white ruling class shortly becoming a minority.

Fortunately for them, they control the wealth. And that controls the country, whether the Executive and/or Legislative branches are Democrat or Republican.

So while there will be sound and fury, the outcome will be the same for the foreseeable future. Past that there will be violence, in my humble opinion.

If 2014 doesn't go their way, and if 2016 shapes up the way it looks like its going to, they'll stop at nothing. They convinced themselves in 2010 that the pendulum swung again in their favor, but 2012 proved them wrong. Their demoralization and panic was complete. There's already a strong apocalyptic streak in these people, They know their numbers are eroding, their influence declining, and their own children are abandoning them. Look how unexpectedly the country's feelings on gays changed, almost overnight. They are a dying nation, and they will not go quietly. There is more to this than just ignorance, hate and greed. What you smell in the air now is fear. I’m afraid this can only get worse.
