Without the internet we would be reading the newspaper, magazines, and watching the evening news. Whatever we happened to be exposed to would not be radical.
On the internet it doesn’t take long to reveal your political tendencies. After this you are bombarded by material that is designed to create fear, paranoia, and hate. I like to think I am wise enough to recognize it for what it is but based on the response to this material, many are stirred mightily.
Am I overreacting to see this as inevitably leading to major violence and possibly civil war?
