`on the wages the Rockefellers, Carnegies, Vanderbilts, DuPonts et al., wanted to pay them. Their ancestors walked up to John D. and explained how much they did for the company and that they were worth more. And of course John agreed.

What naive people! People who owe their livings to union negotiated wage standards sneer at unions.

And that picture is beautiful. Bet they are unionized, have health, vacation, pension and other benefits, because their employer doesn't want to replace them.

When the unions are totally eradicated, and business-friendly politicians take over in every branch of every level of government, employment and salaries will rise, income disparity will vanish, inflation will stabilize, and freedom and prosperity will bloom throughout the land.

<img src="http://circumboreal.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/low-wage-factory-workers.jpg" alt="." />

And everyone will be free to become an entrepreneur, (but only if they want to).

And do you really think that demanding higher wages is going to level the playing field? They (we) won't jump the chasm of income disparity that way.

[I don't think you've been reading me lately.No matter, but you must be confused by now]

A strong middle class is often credited with being the strength of America. The current (and past) Conservative war on the middle class is what is creating the current imbalance in wealth distribution.

Thereby weakening the US.

But seriously, how do you think the middle class came about?
