So, I just assumed it was something else. I saw your comment on FB that they may have been dumped and that is definitely a possibility. If they had been migrating, I am sure they would have turned their ass around at the first 90+ degree day. Did the animal people take it seriously? Powerful and fearless, pound for pound, they are the baddest ass in the forest. They've been known to take on grizzlies. And win! But you might have a hard time getting Animal Control to believe you. As TB pointed out, they are not native to your area, and it may very well be an escaped pet or zoo animal. Still, when somone else reports it, it will corroborate your report and motivate them to get with the program. They are extremely dangerous animals when they feel threatened.
