. . . no matter where science searches. After all, it's God.

There are other inferences, such as the existence of Israel, Mother Teresa, Commander Data and Chaos Theory. All are assumed to be granted special privilege by God, though Israel is the Promised Land, not the God-Given Land, Mother Teresa was really just a very nice, very concerned, very moral woman, Data, in his quest for his own humanity, always had it, and Chaos Theory cannot be proven, simply because it is too chaotic to figure out.

When God is ready, He will be “found.” If there is no god, then at least we put in the effort, and the search tends to make us more moral -- or at least nicer -- or so it seems.

I hope we find Him -- but then again I don’t . . .

The reason this symphony sounds like noise is not that the instruments are being played at random timing, or without heed to the conductor that created the music and the instruments. It is all so exquisitely timed, and all to the grand heed to the creator, that simply being the organization of short-term events, some cataclysmic, all connecting across the Universe. We are star-stuff, we are all related, and so is our God, for we did create Him in our image.

The concept of god answers no questions, it just postpones them.

Think of you every once in a while, usually when I'm reading a history which includes the "Low Countries".

I trust all is well. And stays that way.

I adhere to the concept that nothing is random in the Universe.

We keep forgetting the most important part of the equation. Everything is full circle.
Therefore the missing part, if you would so kindly indulge this humble servant, is when we die. The other side. There has to be another side... to be full circle. To finish the symphony.

In the beginning God created.......
In my opinion the word “created” is essential to the concept attributed to the word God.
Scientists can not explain where space, mass, and energy originated; the bible infers that they were created, until someone comes up with a better explanation I will accept the bible concept.

Bowser, Jody, and ER have interesting observations.
I Interpret their observations in the following manner.
All of us are listening to a fantastic symphony orchestra with millions of instruments playing simultaneously: Bowser says: there are so many instruments playing at the same time that the outcome is just noise, nothing makes sense, Jody says: wow there is magnificent power there and we are part of it, ER says: I can hear and study the sound waves and it may be possible that the instruments are being played by some intelligence, but I can not see the creator of the music, therefore the instruments must be making the music by themselves.
I also listen to the symphony and recognize that each instrument makes its own kind of music, and each is played by an individual that can create that music. The reason this symphony sounds like noise is that the instruments are being played at random timing and without heed to the conductor that created the music and the instruments.

The ideal situation would be to have a symphony orchestra where all instruments were tuned and each player would accept their role and play their instrument according to the wishes of the music creator.
The tuning of the instruments can only be accomplished through communication.
Communicate; understand what the symphony is all about, and how you fit into it.
Communicate; see what the individual musicians have in mind, see how they can fit into the symphony.

...the mere fact we are assembled here and talking about God is *church*, people.

We are gathered here together to bring forth an understanding of each other's very personal, very real, definition. The term of God is a personal one on one relationship with something greater than ourselves..however we define that is up to us. I truly believe that the 'God' I love is NOT picking the fly shit outta the pepper about how we all view the concept.

heh...

Define God on your own terms is where you find your peace. There is no formula. ER judges my spirituality from where he sits. NOBODY NOBODY NOBODY has the right to tell you how or what to believe.

All I adhere to is we are all part of a bigger picture.

The simple Truth is there is something greater than ourselves. YOU define the terms...which in turn defines your purpose...

Man is the one who rapes the concept of what Love is by trying to pin down some formula to go by.

ER is one of the most spiritual people I have "met" with his eloquent monologue of the Universe. He defines himself through his all embracing passion of what is his Truth...his reality. I ask you...does this bring you peace?
Are you doing the best you can? Do you maliciously harm anyone? Hell no you don't. We are all a pretty damn decent group of people here.

It is in planting this humble seed that I feed the bigger need.
