		<description>Well then now to mid Oct. might be the time to check it out, but you&#039;ll need your scope with Ison currently around  10.8 mag to 9.5 mag mid Oct. when it starts dropping below the horizon until early Dec. 

In my area it currently rises above the horizon around 4am and maxed out around 30 degrees a hour and half later. My eastern view sucks with abundant trees so I&#039;m hoping it survives the loop around the sun as it heads northerly in the sky gaining altitude. 

If you can find Mars tomorrow you should be able to find Ison.

Too bad, a really spectacular naked eye comet would set the entire apocalyptosphere on fire.  </description>
