Your one on one advice to me is to basically let this lost soul figure it out herself.

Isn’t that what you accuse conservatives of doing?

You get quite angry saying conservatives are a cold bunch, but when someone offers a hand you refer to them as a sucker. I have no money to throw at her and say figure it out. I only have me.

EXACTLY.

It is too early in the game to know to what end may come. But I have to try first to see if it will work..or won’t work.

And the only thing we can change is ourselves, and have a hard time doing that.

“Being a sucker” deprives others of chance to develop self-esteem and confidence, teaching them they do not have the ability to solve their own problems. It’s a caring and loving gesture with devastating consequences. Just love them, and let them handle their own problems. It’s not “love” to deprive people of the ability to be responsible for their own actions.

…Sounds like a small combat zone…

I took the last four months off avoiding her angry butt and I went deep into my soul, where my boot straps are to be found.

I have been lenient with her anger outbursts since her husband died…and they are plenty. I am taking today off, and have decided, and I will tell her…three outbursts a day and I am leaving…for that day. I will count out loud, and I want her to realize my boundaries. I do not take her personally anymore, as I realize it has taken years of her own private hell to acquire such a brick wall of anger.

Oh the lessons I am going to learn. About myself.

However I will always be a sucker for my granddaughter and my children. It keeps me humble alcaray.;)
