Burying your head in the sand and demanding we all follow changes nothing, Al, and neither does your fantasizing that we so obviously do. In fact, it is an open insult.

He had to be taken seriously, and he had to be taken down. And I have heard nothing to declare that his WMD arsenal did not escape into Syria, as the UN militaries suspected at the time.

I think that’s quite enough.

Hussein in the global media shouting at UN leaders and threatening to nuke both Israel and Turkey should be ignored as a source. After all, he was just the leader of a nation.

What really happened? The ball was dropped, and dropped hard, from a highly noticeable altitude. The episode is tantamount to a charge of murder, and against the entire administration, be they Democrat or otherwise. They F—ed-up, royal, and lives were lost, but if you confuse the media long enough, maybe they’ll forget.

There's a small problem with the liberal thinking process here.

Before "60 Minutes" decided to use their news show to plug a book, nobody had ever even heard of this guy. The scandal never depended on him before, and it doesn't now. Meanwhile, more of the real eyewitnesses, largely gagged by the State Department, will be testifying next week.
