"Correction, Dec. 10, 2013: This article originally misidentified penguins as mammals. They are birds."

Basically shows you the intellectual horsepower we're dealing with.

Santa is a Nordic and European myth, and white. Note to some conservatives I've heard expanding a bit too much on this controversy: Jesus wasn't.

I saw on FB that there is a movement afoot to replace him with a penguin. It seems that some have become offended by the fact that he is Caucasian and they believe a penguin would better represent diversity

No one can tell anything about the effects of the environment on Santa's workshop are, or vice versa, until it's found.

You gotta get up early to put this past me. I wasn't born yesterday. I was born at night, but not last night. I've been to a couple of county fairs and spent two nights in a hotel in downtown Yakima. Driven through Spokane, and spent a lot of time in Hanford, ear to the ground, listening to the atoms in the waste split. And when the right ear suddenly glowed and stopped working, I switched to the left ear. I was granted the ability to detect hoaxes instantly, without effort, intuitively, and owe it to the public to expose those as rapidly and comprehensively as possible. And this Santa's workshop story is a hoax. Plain and simple. Now, stay with me.

Has anyone noticed the price of scrap iron these days? Out of sight. Scrap steel is about $180 a ton, and wrought iron is often more than steel.

The Eiffel Tower has 7,300 tons of wrought iron. Let's say that's worth 1.3 million dollars. And I have it on confidential authority that in the interest of ecological responsibility the French Government is going to sell it for scrap. And that same source will sell it to me, as they are afraid to sell it to a citizen of France for fear of the repercussions to them. The price to me as an American is $400,000, leaving a net profit of about $750,000 after dismantling costs.

I can raise $200,000 to purchase half of it. That should demonstrate the legitimacy of this deal. I'm willing to sell the other half to the first $200,000 I see and we can get underway.

Unfortunately the real estate under the tower will remain the property of the French. The good news is that there is another 3,000 tons of material including a lot of copper wire which is included in the price of the tower. That will be a bonus on top of the $750,000 profit, as much as $200,000 more.

It will take about a year to dismantle. Therefore an investment of $200,000 will return $375,000 plus the copper in a year, very generous indeed.

As I said, the first $200,000 takes it all. Syndication would be accepted. I don't know why I am so generous, except that it will be faster and some worthy people could realize their dreams in relatively short order. I'd feel better about myself.

Now. PLEASE keep this a secret. It might cause a stir if the French knew the Tower were for sale. It's important to present them with a "fait accompli".

I couldn't be more grateful for that time at Hanford.
