This hot mama has some smart advice for melting lbs

Have you noticed how fit and healthy Jessica Simpson looks these days? Months after giving birth to son Ace, she's rocking a trim body and singing the praises of Weight Watchers (which signed her on as a spokesperson after she had daughter Maxwell in 2012), as well as the 45-minute resistance training workouts she reportedly does three times a week with her trainer.

But there's another strategy she credits with getting her in shape and helping her stay there: daily walks. After Ace was born, she said she aimed to get 8,000 to 10,000 steps a day. "I wasn't trying to lose weight," she said in a recent interview with USA Today. Rather, she began walking to release anxiety and be a "happier person to be around." Now, she says, "I try and walk about four miles a day consistently. It makes me feel better."

Olfactory memories.

In January, 1977, out on the hot tarmac of Tacumen Intrlernational Airport, Panama -- now Torijos International -- the hatch was opened on the colorful Braniff 747, and the cabin was immediately filled with the compost aroma of the jungle. At that moment, my mind shot me back 8 years to Florida, 1969, strolling through Coconut Grove, just days after watching Apollo 11 lift to the heavens.

Years later, returning to Panama, that repeated experience brought to mind my own wedding.

The human brain is funny that way.

...of Phase 1 Atkins......again...*sigh*...so all I could do was smell it. My delayed honeymoon was in Orlando 39 years ago in February. I was more moved by the sight of the orange groves and the scent of orange blossoms than I was of my wedding.
I had never been out of NY...and this was Shangri la for me.

I digress...which is actually my speciality.
They say that if you eat the local honey that it aids in the treatment of allergies.

I usually have the common clover honey, but today, with my oatmeal, I enjoyed my first taste of wildflower honey. It actually tastes like wildflowers smell...
