Ethically, it should be left completely alone. Naturally, someone will have to claim it and die, so that someone else could claim it and die. Lawyers, guns and money will be the only way to tip this scale. Since it will eventually be claimed and exploited, I would hope for total transparency for all discoveries, which may even include a destruct sequence that could annihilate a solar system.
