Another Grammar question January 25, 2014 12:30 am FrankC

It annoys the hell out of me when people say ‘alls’ as in ‘alls I was trying to say’.

It wouldn’t bother me if it only came from the uneducated, but I have heard well educated persons say it. I don’t think it is regional. It seems to me that more than ten percent use this Malaprop.
