I’m watching some DVR’d Olympic events and “Slope Style” Skiing is on. I can’t stand it. I don’t even know if “Aerial” skiing is an event anymore, but when you watched ‘it’, you saw beauty and grace in motion.

While slope style skiers are no less the athletes (and in some ways more), their sport is ugly and clumsy, all the way down to what they wear. There is no ‘form’ for them to maintain and they only way to know if they screwed up is if they crash.

The counter culture of Snowboarding has spread like a virus to other winter sports.

I mean who would you rather watch, Fred and Ginger, or Miley Cyrus?

I must admit it ‘is’ entertaining because I’m still watching it. I guess I ‘can’ stand it but I don’t have to like it.;)
