The Biathlon is a combination of two skills each with a useful purpose. Sliding down stair rails on skis is a silly stunt with no reality to back it up. Silly. I admit it takes skill, athletic ability, balance and strength. I would say that free-climbing skyscrapers would be a more worthy activity. Curling is a sport, available to many people and widely practiced.
