It would not have been that unusual in that historical context, and it certainly would have gone a long way in explaining the bitter rivalry that so quickly exploded between the two old friends. We have Televangelism, Church Sermon Sunday, Street Corner Prophets, old Charlton Heston movies, Easter, Christmas, and Save Your Soul kits available. I think that the Science community deserves their own Sun. That is their mindset. They have “God”.

It's called commercial television for a reason -- likely capital gain. Rather than whining, they need to show how Creationism would improve the Cosmos ratings. I don’t see it.
