David Samson, former NJ Atty Gen and Christie mentor, and his appointee to the directorship of the Port Authority (and consulting lawyer to big construction projects in Ft Lee and Hoboken) just retired today, right after the report was released.

I don’t know why, he wasn’t interviewed. He wasn’t even mentioned in the report. And since he no longer works for NJ government, the State Legislative Investigating Committee can no longer subpoena him.
