the feeling a guy gets from fixing something that would cost good money to be done by a pro.

I love to fix things. I recently replaced the keyboard on my daughters laptop and it was very satisfying. It takes me a lot longer than a pro and sometimes it takes a do over but it is still a great satisfaction.

As for fixing none-hardware computer problems, I have found that I am better than most on-line or telephone tech support by using internet solutions, Most tech support starts off thinking you are an idiot and then they graduate to finding a way to blame it on your hardware. Even in-home support has been useless more than half the time.

Good job Rob!

I recently had a whole lot of electrical problems with the van. After all manner of trials and tribulations I cleaned all the wires connected to the batteries (they were surprisingly corroded and dirty), and put them back together with dielectric grease.

All kinds of things started working. Amazing.

Congratulations.
