As I recall, Geraldine Ferraro, the Dem VP candidate in 1984, was tarred with allegations her developer husband had played a bit close to the line. I don't recall any male candidates being held responsible for the transgressions of his wife. I'm absolutely sure it's happened, but I sure don't recall. Hillary may have some serious problems trying to avoid having Bill's record tied to her tail. Hillary not only has her own baggage, which conservatives have pretty well dug up, but also has to carry all of Bill’s. I personally think Hillary is too old to run, but without her Obamacare is toast, the safety net goes down the toilet, and the oligarchy gets a huge tax cut. She needs a good Veep, like Liz Warren. With already known health concerns, she may not be physically able to handle a full term, let alone 2. Being prez is a grueling job, particularly for a first woman prez. I think she'll be needing a serious trainer and a hearty greens diet. Maybe a good salmon diet, with spinach and broccoli, Brussels sprouts, whole-grain pasta. A nice red wine to finish out the day.
