		<description>When it became obvious that the Iraq war was a complete sham, a criminal undertaking on an international scale, and that my country--at my urging, no less--was slaughtering countless thousands of individuals...well, it doesn&#039;t make looking in the mirror much fun.

It&#039;s a tough one, but if a conservative has even the tiniest seed of doubt about the right-wing worldview, the truth might eventually work it&#039;s way in. The trouble, of course, is that doubt--like compromise, or dialog--is a conservative sin. The conservative universe is far too small for such nonsense. 

Better dead than well-read, as they say.</description>
