If it is on a four lane I will run parallel and look for an alternate route. If I see one coming up behind me I will speed up and try to find a way to avoid it. I try to be respectful and give the procession some deference but it seems most people just consider them a huge nuisance. I'll admit that I am not overly chivalrous toward funeral processions and I am annoyed if they make me late. so i do yield for them and i will not break into their line.
