Gun “control” (a flexible concept) exists in many places where the citizenry isn’t subjected to a government of armed thugs. Canada comes to mind. I grew up there and was never rounded up in the middle of the night by a jackbooted police squad. Not even once.
It’s certainly *possible* to own a gun in Canada. My dad had a hunting rifle. But then, he was an aircraft repair technician and often spent weeks in remote locations in the north, maintaining helicoptors. For him, owning a rifle made sense.
Anyway, the point is, Canadians live happily, peaceably and securely in a society that practices a moderate form of gun control.
Why can’t we? The very concept is mocked and dismissed in this country. Why?

Bogus excuse for gun ownership.

Don't recall ever being "rounded up" either. "Not even once" . . .
- Then why do Americans feel they need guns to protect themselves from government?

Here's why.
