A brief lurk on the Alternate History discussion board July 16, 2014 7:36 pm ER

Q: What if sometime during the early 2000s [sic], some sort of space exploration mission to one of the moons in the Solar System was found to have been sustaining microbial life somewhere beneath or above its surface? How does the world react?

A: There would also be a host of well connected, well funded world class deniers tumbling out of the woodwork, saying it’s all a NASA/European Space Agency/Roscosmos/Freemason/Zionist/El Quaida conspiracy to promote more funding/world government/godless heathens/aliens among us/Neo-Nazis/the gold standard/the designated hitter rule…. take your pick.
