Now I understand that ISIS has taken over as America’s greatest enemy, our arch-foe, those dastardly bastards who envy our McDonalds and Japanese motor scooters to the point of suicide bombing. Chuck Hagel says they are out biggest threat.
What is intriguing is that they are over there, in their own area, fighting their own type. And killing an American or two who is also over there, on their turf, thousands of miles away from their own territory.
And the American military is over there, killing them, which they resent about as much as we would if they were over here, killing us, which they are most decidedly not. However, if they were, I could understand a strong resentment toward them. Much like the strong resentment toward Americans.
The Americans are propping up corrupt governments, dictators and other unsavory characters. And some of them don’t like that. And fight back. Which does seem to have a certain logic to it.
But they’re bad guys, they do mean things, you say. They commit atrocities, crimes against humanity and have no respect for Mother’s Day. Find me a virgin in that regard. Maybe you can. After all, we consider suicide bombers as cowards and B-52 crews as heroes. Figure that one out.
Self-defense is a legal right. One may shoot someone who has invaded their home and cornered them. Sort of like ISIS. It’s murder when you kill someone in their own home, after cornering them. Even if you don’t like them and they don’t like you.
