Watched a YouTube clip of Neil de Grasse Tyson talking briefly about Intelligent Design. His thesis was that 15% of professional scientists believed in Intelligent Design and they need to be studied in order to figure out how they can do that.
However, to my mind, Tyson absolutely devastated the “Intelligent Design” idea by pointing out that using the same hole for breathing and eating, with all the attendant dangers, is not “Intelligent”. After all, dolphins have separate orofices for breathing and eating.
And, he pointed out that having the entertainment center located next to the sewage plant doesn’t seem to be the smartest thing, either.
I have to admit, that if that’s the best that God can do, He’s not much of a God. The worst thing a person could do to contemporary Christianity would be to allow that “Intelligent Design” might actually be a reality.
