This actually makes a lot of sense for the ISS. The ability to print new parts rather than wait for the next capsule will be a huge boon tothe space station. Assuming of course the parts that are needed can be ABS. I can imagine a situation such as Apollo 13 where assuming they have enough time to wait for the print, they could forestall some emergency with this.
There won’t be any “Tea, Earl Gray, Hot” just yet, but dang if that “Made in Space” label isn’t enticing.
