"Those who can afford it the least." October 30, 2014 9:31 am bowser

I’m very suspicious of the current political ads which urge a vote one way or the other to protect “those who can afford it the least”.  This concern for the poor as expressed in a barrage of ads paid for by the larger corporations ring hollow to me.  Right now it’s about labeling genetically modified foods.  All a once, “those who can afford it the least” will bear a tremendous burden if that is enacted.

In my State, “those who can afford it the least” are stomped on regularly in the taxes, fees, and practices such as legalized gambling which impact them directly.  No one cares.  And watch out of large corporations all at once seem to have an interest in protecting them.
