“Mr President, you need to see the latest photos from NASA…”

“Is that, is that a structure?”

“Yes sir”

“And this is where, on an asteroid?”

“Small planet, actually, but, yes sir.”

Here’s my question: say one of those bright spots on Ceres turns out to be something that really looks to be manufactured? How long until there are boots on the ground to investigate? Or at least a robot lander? Would the images be believed? Would they be withheld?
