but I think its finally dawned on them he's not running this time. If Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren wins the Democratic Presidential nomination I'm sure they'll find a way to blame it on them, too. And if the Republicans win the Presidency and maintain control of the legislature and the courts at national, state and local levels, they'll no doubt continue to blame the continuing deterioration of the world on its employees, not its owners.

Don't fret about it, Bowz. Don't try to see logic or reason in Republican policy positions any more. The Conservative agenda is very easy to understand if you just keep in mind one simple unifying concept. They do not want to spend any money that won't immediately invest into increased accumulation or preservation of wealth for themselves. They want lower taxes and less health, consumer, safety and environmental regulations, and a complete dismantling of the social safety net. They also want to make it impossible for workers to organize, unionize or otherwise empower themselves collectively. For them, those are corporate rights, property rights, not human ones. They can afford to pay for their own lobbyists, politicians, lawyers, teachers and doctors, so why should they have to contribute even one penny for anyone elses?

Their economic policy is very straightforward. Hire as few people as possible and pay them as little as possible. Remember, every penny that goes to salaries and benefits is a penny not available to them.
And the easiest way to accomplish this is to have as many people out of work as possible, and keep those who are working as insecure and afraid of losing their jobs as possible so they will do what they're told and not cause any trouble. Once you grasp that, everything else falls neatly into place. The world makes perfect sense.

This is nothing new. Its been the same story since Pharaoh's time. Commies, Arabs, Jews, immigrants, Demos/Repubs, are all distractions to keep the victims from seeing the obvious. In reality, there is only US and THEM. We have conflicting interests, and therefore contrasting agendas, which inevitably lead to different policies. It isn't even a question of morality or philosophy or right and wrong. Its simply the inevitable result of social dynamics. Shit, like water, flows down hill.

The only real difference between US and THEM is that there are a whole hell of lot more of US, and there are a lot less of THEM, every day. That's what THEY are really afraid of.
