But I have to ask about the big red apple hanging prominently from the tree. That kinda gives it biblical overtones, eating of the fruit of the tree of knowledge etc. And I wonder if said overtones might be contrary to the mission of a library to encourage consumption of said fruit, rather than warning people away from "dangerous knowledge" with Eve's example?
