Wish I’d have thought of it.

There are so many matters where the evidence points to one conclusion and conservatives seem to shut their eyes, put fingers in their ears, and say “No, no, no, no” and call that reality.

I have to think that I respond to that in the same way – fingers in ears, and “No, no, no”. And am impervious to any appeals.

And everyone gets to wander off thinking “What a dumb shit” and feel superior.

Think of it – everyone gets to feel superior! No winners, no losers, it’s like Lake Woebegone, everyone is above average.

Disappointing. I had a long response prepared but decided it was too divisive and not worth the outcome. Suffice it to say I would not have made that up, and I realize you will believe what you want to believe.

Me, too. Nuff sed, there’s no way to continue this without doing far more damage than it’s worth.

I let it go the first time you said this.

I never proposed that American military personnel should pay for their own equipment and upkeep.

To the best of my knowledge, no conservative has ever proposed that American military personnel should be made to pay for their own equipment and upkeep.

I’ve let a lot of nonsense go by here without comment, including in this post, and will continue to do so, but that one has my name on it.
