The anti-AGW folks seem to have a mantra. ”Follow the money” to explain how the people who are trying to manage AGW are profiting handsomely by promoting bogus science. I don’t get it.
“Chevron and Total wrapped up a string of gargantuan, record-breaking earnings reports from oil companies on Friday, a stretch in which six of the major international oil companies topped $50 billion in combined profit for the first time.” That’s for one quarter, 3 months. Six companies.
Where are people making that kind of money for promoting taking care of our environment? I think if one follows the money one would discover the energy companies have a HUGE stake in continuing the denial, and encouraging Conservative shills to echo their nonsense.
On these boards we’ve heard “follow the money” so much there must be a Conservative who can explain that.
