Explain to me again, real carefully, in plain English, how unjustified police shootings of civilians are the result of left wing policies. If its that obvious then surely you could explain it to a relatively bright twelve year old. Forgive me if I’m slow, but it seems to me you’re spending a lot more effort trying to convince yourself than you are on persuading me.

I got the chart from the Washington Post. A couple of sources theorize that the 70s peak, which I never mentioned politically or otherwise, originated in the War on Drugs that Nixon started in 1971. Well, I guess that would make it political.

The “self evident social phenomenon” you bring up has been going on for decades, not just during recessions, but during roaring economic growth periods. There’s more to it.

And think real hard about that headline. “Cui bono.“

Whoever crafted that phrase came up with a clever trap for racists. It’s a logic puzzle they can’t solve but can’t stop themselves from trying: Black lives are contained within the set of all lives. Only when you see a different Venn diagram do you feel compelled to answer.

Black lives matter. That’s all that was ever required.
