How will history judge those who enable and promote butchery? December 4, 2015 6:28 pm bowser

Face it, the Second Amendment is no longer serving the use for which it was created.  Now it has been perverted to ensure guns and ammunition can get into the hands of  those who cannot be trusted with them.  No one denies the FBI statistics that 25 innocent people are killed for every bad guy.  The role of “well regulated militia” is no longer needed.

So how will history judge those who due to their own personal inadequacies pervert the Constitution in order to perpetuate the slaughters?  I would guess it would be like the slaveowners, those who insisted upon the right to own and torture other human beings.  Both practices have turned vile, both practices attract the worst humanity can muster, both practices bring out the worst in people.

Because, like it or not, this insistence on unregulated gun ownership is promoting these massacres, and those who do the insisting are directly responsible for preventing any realistic attempts to prevent them.

And, face it, guns are no longer necessary in the general population.  Not by any stretch of the sickest imagination are they necessary any more.

(Wow!  I did that without referring directly to “paranoia” or eentsy, weentsy male genetalia.  Pretty good, huh??!!)
