I foresee a future where, after the breakdown of law, order and centralized government, society will be a battlefield of competing armed groups. These will include organized crime, motorcycle clubs, ghetto gangs, narcotraffickers, escaped convicts, racist skinheads, the KKK, right-wing militias, survivalists, and an entire spectrum of ethnic thugs organized by their nation, race or culture of origin. It will be the ultimate Libertarian, Free Market of Ideas society.

These barbarians will fight each other in a multi-sided war, perhaps forming temporary alliances, for diminishing resources such as canned goods, vehicles, gasoline, weapons, ammunition, clothing, women, slaves and spare parts for their machines. The last resource to run out will be human flesh for food, because none of these people will know how to farm and all the game in the wild will have been consumed a long time before.

Of course, I will escape this fate because I own a gun. And I don’t take no shit from nobody.
