Hey guys, I’m enjoying you puppies rolling all over each other trying to out-minimize Donald Trump. Remember how, about 5 seconds after he announced back in May, the entire world including you and me gave him a month, no longer. Half a year later he’s still on the ropes. And still on top of the polls.

You’re right to consider the possibility that it isn’t ultimately about Trump, that we’re witnessing the end-game of the decades-long radicalization of the right (I deleted “American right”, because it’s not just us–France elected a crypto-fascist government just a few days ago).

We live in interesting times, don’t we?

He does not speak for me or anyone in my circle for what it is worth.

However, that being said, he is bringing down the Republican Party single handedly….if it continues in this fashion.

Don’t worry about the election. Hillary will be a shoe in. She deserves the honor. Trump does not. He is vile and disgusting.

And when he stumbles, and eventually he will, there is no shortage of those who will take his place.

Everyone else regards him as a “vanity” candidate, a sideshow, not to be taken seriously. I think he goes to bed every night laughing himself to sleep. The last thing he would want is to be President. He wouldn’t want the responnsibility, he knows he would be lousy, wouldn’t want the scrutiny, and the money would be no good.
