Or it may not be as bad as we think, or that it may be bad, but still survivable. Maybe we won't do the right thing to fix it, or maybe we will, but screw it up anyway. And its almost certain we'll do too little too late and there will be damage and heartbreak we could have avoided. The thing about "challenges" (and how I do really hate that word!) is that sometimes they are not overcome. Sometimes Murphy wins, no matter what we do. But the one thing that is absolutely, positively unforgivable, totally monstrous, is to simply say, "Lets not do anything because it might cost me too much." And then to make excuses to cover up that's what you really meant. Is that it may not really be in trouble. Or it may not be as bad as we think, or that it may be bad, but still survivable. Maybe we won’t do the right thing to fix it, or maybe we will, but screw it up anyway.
