I have barely any trust in my fellow man. As a result my spirituality and my belief in myself has grown exponentially and I stay to myself. I take care of my loved ones and basically that is it.

I think on a tribal/primal level we all have issues that we try to quell, hold at bay. But with information as readily available as it is and the ability to connect with anyone *out in cyber world* that can concur…is a lethal weapon in and of itself.

On a curious note. I wonder how it would have played out had someone like Jesus been born in *this* day and time.

Just think about it. Why would anyone WANT to fake the Sandy Hook shooting? For that matter, what could possibly motivate such an action? This yahoo’s theory seems to go something like this: the gummint wants Americans to give up their guns. The way they have chosen to do this is to discredit gun ownership and owners by implicating them in heinous gun crimes, thereby encouraging people to voluntarily give up their arsenals. Since owning firearms is obviously a right as well as a characteristic of a good American, then it must be necessary for said gummint to fake gun crimes, and publicize them with the aid of the hated media.

But why would the gummint want to discourage or abolish gun ownership? Well, obviously, it must be to make it easier to take over the country and institute a tyranny by disarming the last line of defense against such tyranny, an armed citizenry. (Don’t scoff, I’ve heard serious arguments for this idea right here on the Zone.) An alternative to this back story, one which was much more current back during the days of Soviet Communism, was that the threat was external, that the domestic armed citizen was what was going to stop the hordes of paratroopers from Communist countries, supported by their lackeys in the United Nations and, of course, the backstabbing traitors right here in this country.

And why should this be? What could possibly be in it for these traitors? Would they get rich by not selling guns? Are they being bribed by the Commies? Or do they really believe so strongly in a Communist, godless America that they are doing it just out of conviction. Needless to say, there no longer is a global Comintern, but the traitors still remain.

There seems to be a distinct parallel with the other great Liberal treachery of our time, the Global Warming Conspiracy. How does this come about? A conspiracy of careerist climatologists depends on funding for their research on a manufactured belief that the climate is changing. (I kid you not, this theory has been argued very persuasively right here on the Zone.) But what lies behind that? Again, leftist plots (and their lamestream media propagandists) trying to emasculate the nation by attacking the major mechanism of industrial capitalism, burning of fossil fuels to provide goods and services to the world. And why would anyone want to maliciously do this, which would inevitably threaten their own wealth and influence? Would they get rich by NOT selling fossil fuels? Would they build lucrative careers in government bureacracies administering the solar cell and windmill industries? Or is it just because they hate freedom, and they want to steal our stuff.

And of course, it is obvious that socialized medicine is worse than slavery, and leads directly to the killing fields and the Gulag archipelago.

Well, I’ve got my own conspiracy theory. I think that in these hard economic times a few industries are still profitable, and are becoming more so in spite of the economic troubles the world is suffering.

Among these industries are firearms and fossil fuels and private health care. Anyone with a stake in these enterprises is going to bitterly resist anything that might threaten them. They will do whatever it takes to maintain the status quo. Yes, it is that simple.

The internet didn’t make humanity stupid and hateful, but it sure has revealed us as such.
