It brought back memories of the time when I focused on just one scammer for a couple of months. The leading man was Rooster Cockburn, scion of Petrocock Industries, godfather to W–you were close. I still have the fake web site I set up and the correspondence, and one of these days I’ll set it up again.

I’m not sure I’d do it again today. I don’t see much of that kind of email any more, and I expect the hardcore scamming has shifted to social networks. But it might be fun to run that kind of operation again.
