Imagine.  Trump, and Palin being taken seriously.  Cruz too.  Frankly, if I were right-wing I would just hang my head in shame.

I used to think it was a big joke, that they were sort of joshing us all.  But they are serious, ridiculous beyond belief AND THEY INSIST ON BEING TAKEN SERIOUSLY.  They truly believe the rest of us should afford ‘em some respect, consider their opinions and beliefs as having at least some merit.

I’m to the point that while as individual they may be likable, they are fools and foolish.  Not to be regarded as fully functioning human beings.  It boggles the mind.

For instance, they say they promote accountability.  And family values.  And the son of one of their leaders hits his girlfriend in the head, knocks her down, kicks her, sticks a rifle in her face, and Mom blames President Obama.  Who was on the East Coast, not Alaska, at the time.

Explain that, accountability folks.  Family values people.  Tell me how that works.

I am not going to take them seriously any more.  I’m going to regard them as the joke they are.  It only makes sense.

End of rant.  I do feel better.  It had to be said.
