Soon, America will no longer be a white, Protestant, middle class, Northern European, suburban nation with deep ancestral and rural roots in North America. America is becoming more liberal politically and better educated, better informed, browner and more cosmopolitan. The era of Beaver Cleaver and Mayberry RFD is slowly coming to an end, and its getting harder and harder to pretend it isn't. Its nobody's fault either, its just happening. They sense this, and it scares the hell out of them because now they're going to have to put up with what everyone who wasn't like them has always known. They're sharing their home with strangers, and they can't keep them on the plantation or in the reservation or in the ghetto any longer.
