You’re a partisan propagandist, Tom.

But you’re also a counter-propagandist. That is, not only are you constantly trying to spam us with your political message, you also are determined to parry what you perceive as possibly effective material from the “other side”. We can’t let them get a foot in the door, can we? No sympathy for the devil, woop woo.

You got into this fight because I criticized one of the liberals here for being in poor taste, and I was recognized favorably for that by some conservatives. You felt the need to discredit that, even to the point of mentioning me by name. For your agitprop to work, your opponents must be totally evil, and your allies must be totally loyal. Its always your way or the highway, isn’t it? Your fanaticism has been your downfall.

So spare us the crocodile tears, eh? For years, you and the rest of the Gang of Four (Lee, SDAI and GBaike) terrorized this site, systematically driving off all competition (yes, I still correspond with some of them, they left because of you). You jumped on every voice that didn’t echo your definition of political correctness and when the conversation strayed from politics, you quickly dropped a stinkbomb to bring it back again. The Zone was a town without a sheriff and you hijacked what used to be a wonderful resource for the space community in order to create a sounding board for you and your Brownshirts. And when you were repeatedly begged to tone down the politics, (remember the moratorium?) you flatly and smugly refused, saying “everything is political”. Well, you succeeded. All that’s left of the Zone is a political cesspit.

No one wants you to leave, Tom, you’re a good writer and you have much to contribute, the Zone wouldn’t be the same without you. But like Mr Trump, your voice is divisive and shrill, and it does your cause no good.
