The Conservatives prefer to dwell on the errors and failures of their enemies, and celebrate their suffering. Whether that's because the two philosophies mold different psychologies, or because different personality types are attracted to different ideologies, I don't know. Perhaps Robert could supply us some insight using RWA Theory. At any rate, that's why the Libs are funnier. They always have so much more material. And they are kinder. I'm going to miss Obama. He's done more to eviscerate and confound the Conservative movement by doing nothing overtly against them than any fire-breathing shouter and rabble-rouser could ever possibly have by confronting them directly. Sooner or later America was bound to have a black President. I'm glad he was the one. I wish him and his family the best after he leaves the White House. And I am confident he will be remembered well by history. Whoever takes over will have bigger shoes to fill than they can possibly imagine.
