From 2012:
http://www.thesmokinggun.com/buster/donald-trump-voter-history-764812

Trump’s political flip-flopping over the past quarter-century is best chronicled in the files of New York City’s Board of Elections, where the businessman’s assorted voter registration cards are stored. Here’s what they reveal:

* In July 1987, Trump first registered from his penthouse in Manhattan’s Trump Tower. He enrolled in the REPUBLICAN PARTY, listing his prior residence as his boyhood home in Jamaica Estates, Queens.

* Twelve years later, in October 1999, Trump dumped the GOP, and enrolled in the INDEPENDENCE PARTY.

* Less than two years later, in August 2001, Trump again changed his party enrollment. This time, he emerged as a member of the DEMOCRATIC PARTY.

* He lasted eight years as a Democrat. In September 2009, Trump changed his affiliation, this time returning to the REPUBLICAN PARTY.

* As of press time, Trump’s latest party switch occurred six weeks ago, on December 21, when he again ditched the GOP. But instead of siding with a particular party, Trump checked off the box indicating “I DO NOT WISH TO ENROLL IN A PARTY.”

In the case of the state, you showed 0.22% switched from Democrat to Republican. The county example was 1000 switched, out of about 100000 <del datetime="2016-03-12T17:12:05+00:00">registered</del> democrats in that county. So approximately 1% of democratic voters, 2.4% of registered democrats.

That County is also overwhelmingly democrat...**

You seem to have a problem with numbers... no interpretation of the numbers gives you a lot... and there is no way they will somehow swing the county to favor a republican candidate...

I doubt these numbers are unique to this election cycle. (Just checked, these are not unusual numbers- see HERE)

In 2008:

Among Republicans interviewed in October, 17% did not identify as Republicans in November. Among Democrats interviewed in October, 10% no longer identified as Democrats. Of those who declined to identify with a party in October, 18% told us they were either Democrats or Republicans when we interviewed them in November. Overall, 15% of voters gave a different answer in November than they did in October.

That said, I would not be shocked if the number of folks switching sides in BOTH parties is higher than usual. .. Trump has huge support among folks that identify as republican, but are registered as democrat... so some of those may switch to vote for him in the primaries.

And a LOT of Republicans will register as democrats out of disgust for the ugly spectacle the GOP has become....

**In 2012 Obama won the county: 63.2 %, 74,300 votes were cast for Obama...
1000/74,300 gives 1.3% and that assumes the 1000 came from the group that voted for Obama in 2012

You think those are the only states that democrats are voting for Trump? Basing your claim on one or two articles of one or two state is narrow minded. You might want to check on the rest of the states.

So now you are justifying claims of my character on wondering if I support Trump. Man you are losing it. I've stated here before I don't like Trump. I was just showing your partisan views on who's supporting Trump by voting for him.

You are foolishly trying to define what a lot means by nit picking one example. Seems the total picture is hard for you to grasp.

And if you are defending Trump being the front-runner in your party, then you gave up any pretense of having character a long way back...

You're questioning what 'a lot' means because that's all you have.

I'm giving links to show democrats are voting for Trump and all you are doing is attacking my character.

Go fly away dude.

I think there are some...maybe even "a lot," who are SO pissed that Obama won two terms that what they want more than anything else right now is to bash America's teeth in. Putting Trump in the White House would be a very effective way of doing so.
