A bunch of tight-ass Ayn Randian, neofascist, skinny tie, crewcut Libertarian millennial wannabe Silicon Valley entrepreneurs? Or how about the Daddy Warbucks, richer-than-Croesus Wall Street moneybags Bond villain stereotype? Or will they go to Jesus, like those perfectly coiffed and dressed TV preachers with surgically implanted smiles. I'd like to think it will be the old stereotypical honest, decent, small businessman trying to do his best for family, country and community. Yeah, there used to be Republicans like that, but they're all flipping burgers at MacDonalds now, wondering what went wrong. Of course, you could argue that Democrats are also made up of a similar group of diverse tribes, but they seem to have found a way to live and work together. Or at least, their party is united and seems fairly comfortable in its diversity. Progressives should not be looking forward to a Republican Civil war. It will turn out to be like gang warfare.
