I'm tempted to think that it takes a drug-addled brain to try to stretch reason to create some meaning, inject a meaning where before there was nonsense. I would bet that diligently applying that same mind with those same drugs to "Mary Had A Little Lamb" could come up with the meaning of life plus a Unified Field Theorem, saving mankind the cost of a certain European particle accelerator.
