A plausible Sanders - Cruz scenario.
It seems within the realm of possibility that Clinton could get nailed over her emails. It happened to Petraeus. If so, her chances of getting the nomination are slim to none. Probably, though, there isn't time before the election for that to run its' course.

And the Conservatives are on the verge of getting Trump out of the way. They are chipping away at each segment of his support, leaving him with only some of the white Conservatives. They will find a way to deprive him of the nomination, and Cruz is the natural successor. For God's sake, Trump is using Palin as a surrogate at various affairs. Palin seems to be the best he can do. Sad. Trump will either form a third party or decide to save his money.

(It's a delight to see Palin active in Conservative politics. They deserve him, and Todd and Bristol and the rest. Talk about trailer trash. Bristol IS a perfect example of the virtues of abstinence, however. If some people practiced that more often she might not be here.)

A hitch in this scenario is if Cruz is shown to have had affairs with any of those women, or any men. (The denials I've read are pretty weak. After all calling a tabloid "junk journalism" may be accurate but is hardly a denial of any particular article. He could have a Jimmy Sweggart, Bill Clinton forgiveness orgy but there might not be time for that. In which case it would be back to Trump or some other candidate who did not manage to gain traction in the trials running up to the convention.

No matter what happens it's going to be interesting.
