He’s right, it’s gone, with the freedoms and liberties now available to minorities coming at the expense of white males. The shift is a problem only to people who think of themselves as a white male and expect power and authority to accrue to them because of that. Others, more secure, find it easy to recognize minorities as equals because it doesn’t cost them anything.

Hopefully, the US the author mourns is gone, and hopefully the author quickly moves into the new world, accepting the rights of others, living lives as preached by Jesus Christ. If they will only read the New Testament they will see that Jesus preached inclusion, acceptance, freedom for all. Except as a child, one time, he criticized the “money-changers”. One doesn’t need to pray to understand what he would have thought of the bankers who give themselves huge “bonuses” even though their companies lose money.
And yet that’s the hallmark of the world that author sadly watches pass from existence. It’s natural, it’s normal. And they don’t believe in evolution!!!

This whole screed is so outrageous it could be argued that it is actually “black propaganda”, written by Left-wing agitators just to make Conservatives look like idiots and monsters. A competent Conservative propagandist would certainly avoid employing so many obvious giveaways and dog-whistle codewords, cliches and stereotypes. I was particularly impressed by the catalog of Liberal villains and low-lifes, and so proud to see how many of its infamous categories I personally qualified for or otherwise sympathized with.

But even if it could be convincingly demonstrated this little manifesto originated as Left-wing provocateur mischief, the fact that it is embraced by Conservatives, and that they continue to propagate it, speaks volumes. No matter how preposterous it sounds, it still tells us the sentiments expressed therein are held by a significant portion of the Republican Party; My guess is about a quarter to a third of the American adult population.

It must be tough being a white Christian Conservative. And I’m so proud I’m not one. (Although I can still pass for one if I have to.)

The only part of that screed that Graham actually said was: “America will not come back”… the rest is a misattributed viral email from 2012…

Every time they suffer a defeat, the conclusion they reach is “We weren’t pure enough- if only if we had been further on the extreme right then the voters would go with us!”

It is a clearly absurd conclusion to draw- the notion that the way to get popular support is to concentrate on appeasing the extremist fringe of your party… it’s insane…

Whether is was actually stated by Rev. Graham, or not, it does not matter to me.

The facts don’t matter to them*, all that matters is what they WANT to be true… and THAT is why they cannot be allowed power. They are a threat to the human race… they deny that the greatest threat to civilization even exists- instead they claim global warming is a conspiracy of scientists…
