The cats (and the rats) came for the garbage, and several little old ladies would drive by and feed them. Not just scraps and handouts were involved, but several bags of cat food would come out of the trunks of their cars. Eventually the city had to come out and clean up the mess. Then the homeless moved into the area. I don't know where the cats went. Its sad, I really like cats.
