are the Corporate Elites, the Establishment, the Evangelicals, the Libertarians, the TParty and all the other Conservative subsets and fringe groups like the Right Wing Media, lobbyists, intellectuals, the think tanks and institutes (all those learned scholarly groups with Liberty, Freedom, Enterprise and Heritage in their titles) who helped create this populist Frankenstein monster.

I got it wrong, too. I knew the Right was building a movement, I never thought it could get away from them and gain a life of its own.

To say you’re merely “parroting” is untrue and unkind. I know you’re a smart and decent guy…which of course serves mostly to confound me even further regarding your support for Trump.

You know, when he first announced, I thought “Again?” Then I thought “well, good…maybe he’ll shake things up.” But he’s become a waking nightmare. Even if he doesn’t win, he’s already caused damage to this country that will haunt us for a long time to come. Never has the flag been more deftly draped around hatred’s shoulders.
