I know that it can take months, if not years, for someone to get vetted as a refugee now. If that process can’t stop the bad guys, at least part of the time, then there’s no point in having a process at all.

Going back to the Columbine incident, how many of the US mass shootings have had a Muslim connection? Just a handful. And even those have been mostly local wackos, even US natives, which were not from overseas.
